Fancy Pants
Fancy is a Shetland pony who used to be a hunter jumper! After an injury that ended her jumping career she has since been in our program and is more than happy and healthy in our program!
Cat
Cat is a Thoroughbred that came to us from a rescue program. Cat used to help rehabilitate incarcerated individuals at the Wyoming Correctional Facility. The program gives individuals the opportunity to participate in a rigorous training program where they learn horse anatomy, how to care for injuries, equine nutrition, and other aspects of horse care. Cat now spends her days in our program, helping even more people!
Nico
Nico is an off the track Standardbred, he used to be a harness racing horse. Nico is one of our newer horses but he has been doing wonderfully and is already starting to be a barn favorite!
Monte
Monte is an old horse with an old soul, he is the sweetest guy and everyone’s favorite pony. Monte came from an auction to live at Lothlorien. He came to us underweight and needing some love and that’s just what we plan on giving him!
Paint
Paint is a flashy paint gelding in his mid to late teens. He was a 4-H show horse who worked with children for many years. He has since retired from the show scene and is now utilized in our program.
Sonny
Sonny is a Haflinger gelding who came from a trail riding camp. His age is in the mid-teens. Sonny has a mustache that makes him look like a perfect gentleman!
Lucy
Lucy is an older girl who came to us underweight. Since she has been at Lothlorien she has really come out of her shell and looks so much better! Lucy was previously used at a kids camp, she is very sweet and a quiet girl.
Dixie
Dixie is a very sweet horse, who was rescued from a poor situation. Dixie is 12 years old, a very pretty girl who loves attention.
