The facility consists of seven pastures, a 13-stall barn, a large outdoor sand riding arena and the 170’x80’ indoor INSULATED AND HEATED Angel Arena, built in 2015. Families and caregivers are welcome to watch lessons in the viewing area and there is an administrative office and on-site housing for the barn manager. As you enter our facility, you’ll find white picket fences on both sides providing a great view of our team of horses!
LTRC Horse Barn
Our barn has 13 roomy, well maintained stalls (thanks to our staff and volunteers). Visitors are welcome to visit the horses in the barn. We just ask that you check with someone in the office or on the grounds first. And if you want to help out by mucking a stall, just ask and we will be glad to show you how. If you aren’t sure what mucking is, it involves a shovel and a wheelbarrow.
Angel Arena
LTRC reached and surpassed the Match Challenge set forth by Scott Bieler and Kathy Lasher!! Scott and Kathy challenged LTRC to raise half of the remaining funds needed to reach our fundraising goal to Raise Our Roof to Save Our Center. That amount was $37,500 and through the generosity of LTRC’s friends and donors, we have surpassed that mark and raised $39,000! We thank Scott and Kathy and all the donors for their support and generosity.
